Just look at the GPU processing power increase from the 2000 to 3000 series if Nvidia's presentation is true. If that really comes to pass it’s going to be a crazy time to live with the GPU power we will have in the next 10 years. Where it can analyze a 2D image/video and come up with a 3D model from that image/video that is pretty damn perfect. I look forward to a day when we have software that works just like how Nvidia’s presentation showed the other day. If your method is similar to what has already been done that’s cool too because why fix what isn’t broken right?

I would just like to have a decent understanding of how your getting 3D video out of a 2D video and how it differs from technics that have already been done.
